cbc’s “new” site
cbc.ca has been down or semi-down all day. currently, it’s a temporary version that’s just a white background, red titles and links to news stories. i have to say, i like it a LOT better than their “unbroken” design. this one is cleaner, easier to find news stories, and easier to skim each category. even the stories themselves aren’t cluttered with excessive navigation, excessive ads or links trying to pull me off to other sections before i even finish reading.
i wish they would keep the site like that, although i bet by the time this is posted, it’ll already be back to normal.
